It is our job through Downtown Washington Inc. to balance historic preservation with economic development. This is done through concentrated efforts of design, economic development, promotion, and organization.

We strive to compliment the city's past while investing in it’s future through promoting the downtown's many characteristics and facilitating positive activities.
